The Verdon winds through the mountains of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and has created an impressive canyon, before throwing itself into the Sainte-Croix lake. At the heart of the wooded hills, this lake is one of the biggest artificial lakes of France, and surfaces 22 ha. The clear waters and great beaches make it the ideal spot for a day of swimming and relaxing with the entire family. It is also a nice place to practise different water sports.
